The grand highlight during Intramurals and Foundation Anniversary  Celebration of  Our Lady Triumph Institute of  Technology was the search for Mr. and Ms. OLT 2017, one of the most awaited events every year. Eight (8) female and eight (8) male candidates from different teams were competing to be crowned as Mr. and Ms. OLT 2017.Loren Mae L. Gupit from Team Athens and Jose A. Blando II from Team Spartans took home the bacon after being proclaimed as Mr. and Ms. OLT 2017 last September 12, 2017 at MGM Auditorium, Banadero Highway, Ozamiz City.Though Ms. Gupit unable to grasp any major award and she only got one minor award which is Ms. Baby Cologne, she showed everyone her confidence and determination by answering the Question and Answer Portion very well and dutched the Ms. OLT 2017 title. She is from the Team Athens and a 4th year Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management. She ranked first with a total score of  38 points, against the 36.5 points of Ms. Sthefanee Gulleban placing as 1st Princess followed by the 33.5 points of Ms. Nikki S.

2017 ACQUAINTANCE PARTY INDEED FUN AND LIVELY

The Hospitality and Tourism Management students of Our Lady of Triumph Institute of Technology held their massive Acquaintance Party last July 21, 2017 at the MGM Auditorium, Bañadero Highway, Ozamiz City. The said party started at exactly 6:00pm and ended at 8:00pm. The Triumphants highly anticipated the said event since it was also one of the exciting occasions being celebrated each year. The theme of the event was highlighted with a quote, “Tighten your jeans as your friendship; love and never let it fade away”.  The decoration concepts were in denims. Altogether, the Supreme Student Council Officers gave their outmost effort to make the event successful and meet the expectations of the students. Under the leadership of Miss Leonides T. Sanoy and Miss Stefanie Joi N. Yator the whole decorations were perfectly made.

OLT 7th  FOUNDATION ANNIVERSARY AND INTRAMURALS

Our Lady of Triumph Institute of Technology celebrated the 7th Foundation Anniversary and Intramurals on September 8-15, 2017 with the theme: “Developing Students’ Professional Competencies and Desirable Personal Traits through Sports and Fun-Filled” together with Misamis Institute Technology (MIT Inc.) started with a grand parade last Friday afternoon of September 8, 2017.

                 OLT together with MIT Inc. assembled at Pingol St. and Laurel St. (alongside of City Gym) Ozamiz City. It was participated by all OLT and MIT Inc. students, Faculty Members, School Officials, and Staff/Personnel. It passes through major streets of the city, then proceeded to MGM Auditorium, MIT Inc. for an opening program and followed by different talents and shows for eight days, thus making the affair so lively and enjoyable. The students were equally and randomly divided into four strong build teams namely; Athens Romans, Spartans and Persians.These teams were grouped meant to fairly and compete with each other as part of the event. The competition is a friendly competition which will promote the students good sportsmanship and camaraderie.

OLT CELEBRATES 2ND ALUMNI NIGHT

The program ended earlier than expected, which gave everybody a chance to catch up and get updated with each other. In the concluding part of the program, flashes surrounded the OLT quadrangle as the facilitators, and alumni gathered together for the picture taking. The OLT facilitators, committee members, and all the other people behind this endeavor were more than satisfied for having a successful event. Most importantly, the activity revealed the overwhelming generosity of the alumni from different batches, for they not only shared their time and talent, but they also contributed financially.

The next juncture opened the floor for the election of the alumni nominated by each batch. In the end, Thirdy O. Lapitan and Ms. Celeste Torino won as president and vice-president respectively.  These elected alumni are expected to lead and to plan the next alumni homecoming. Various games and surprises entertained the alumni whom they had joyfully enjoyed. Sumptuous meals for dinners were served through the effort of committee members. The highlight of the gathering was the paint party wherein the alumni dance, jump and beat to the cool and electro music of DJ John of Cagayan de Oro City.
